Why Yandex Music Tracks Are Not Always Seen in Gallery
You downloaded the album in Yandex Music, but you can't find the files on Xiaomi? The problem isn't you, it's the features of the application and the MIUI shell. The fact is that the service by default hides downloaded tracks from standard file managers, and also uses non-obvious storage paths. Moreover, on some Redmi or POCO models, music folders may not be in the root directory at all - they will have to be searched through system tools.
Another common reason is caching instead of full downloading. Yandex Music often saves tracks to a temporary cache that automatically clears when memory is scarce, in which case files physically exist on the device but are not available for listening outside the application, and to figure out where your tracks are stored, you need to consider the MIUI version, the smartphone model, and even the download method (via mobile network or Wi-Fi).
Official ways of storing music in Yandex Music on Xiaomi
If the tracks were downloaded in Save to Device mode (rather than just cached for offline listening), they can be found in the following standard ways:
- 📁 /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/ru.yandex.music/files/music/ — main folder with downloaded tracks (available only through root-enabled file manager or special applications).

To check which tracks are fully loaded and which are simply cached:
- Open Yandex Music and go to My Music → Downloads.
- Click on three dots next to the album or playlist → Download management.
- If you have the option to Delete Download, then the tracks are saved as files, unless Clear cache is temporary data.
Why Xiaomi does not see a folder with Yandex music
Even if you know the right way, you may not find a folder with tracks. Here are three main reasons specific to Xiaomi smartphones:
