VK’s Marusya voice assistant has long since ceased to be exclusive to smartphones, and can now be integrated into the smart home ecosystem, including Xiaomi TVs. However, many users face difficulties: the microphone does not recognize commands, the application does not find the device, voice search works with delays. In this article, we will analyze all the current ways to connect Marusi to Xiaomi TV (including models with Google TV, MIUI TV and Mi Box consoles), and give a checklist to eliminate typical errors.
It’s important to understand that Xiaomi doesn’t pre-installe Marusya in the firmware of its TVs — it needs to be installed manually through third-party apps or connected as an external assistant. We tested all methods on current models from 2023 to 2026 (including Xiaomi TV A2 43, Mi TV Q2 55” and Mi Box S 2nd Gen) and highlighted the only reliable way for TVs without Google Play — this is discussed in the section on alternative methods.
