When Xiaomi displays only a phone number or an empty field instead of a contact name on the screen during an incoming call, it is a common and highly annoying problem. Users are often confused about why the phone book is ignored by the system at the most important moment, and this can happen for a variety of reasons, from a banal failure in the work of Google Assistant to hidden settings of app access rights.
Owners of Redmi and Poco smartphones face this most often after updating the firmware MIUI or HyperOS. Android security periodically changes the rules of interaction between system components and third-party services, which leads to desynchronization of data.
