Why Autodial May Not Work on Redmi Note 9 and How to Fix It

The easiest way is to use the built-in settings of the Phone app, but there's a caveat: depending on the version of MIUI, the path to the option may differ. On the Redmi Note 9 with MIUI 13+ firmware, the algorithm is as follows:
- Open the Phone app (the tube icon on the home screen).
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner → select Settings.

- Save the changes and restart the phone.

Frequent problems and their solutions
Even after a successful setup, the auto dialer may not work properly, and here are the typical situations and ways to fix them:
