Deleting a Google account with Xiaomi Redmi 9C is a challenge that users face when selling a phone, changing a profile or solving sync problems. However, standard deletion through settings often leads to unexpected consequences, from authentication error to locking a device through FRP (Factory Reset Protection). In this article, we will discuss all the current ways to delete a Google account on MIUI 12-14, including bypassing protection and restoring access without losing data.
The Redmi 9C (M2006C3LG) feature is the use of the MediaTek Helio G35 processor and Android 10/11 firmware with MIUI shell. This puts restrictions on some methods of uninstallation, for example, through ADB or Fastboot. We tested all the methods described below on current versions of the software (as of June 2026) and indicated which ones work without root rights and where you will need to unlock the bootloader.
Important: If you plan to sell or transfer a phone, it is not enough to just log out of your account - it must be completely deleted, otherwise the new owner may face a login / password request after the reset. FRP-lock-in.
1. Standard deletion of Google account through MIUI settings
The easiest way to do this is if you remember your account password and your phone is not locked. In MIUI 12-14, the path to setting up accounts has changed, and it's now hidden deeper than in the older versions.

- π± Open Settings (the gear icon on the main screen).
- π€ Go to Accounts and Synchronization β Google.
- π Select your account (if there are several) and click Delete account.
- β οΈ Confirm the action by entering your password or graphical phone key (not to be confused with Google password!).

β οΈ Note: If after deleting your account, you reset to factory settings (Settings) β The phone. β Resetting, the phone will require you to enter the data of the deleted Google account to unlock (FRP-To avoid this, delete your account first and then reset.
