1. Open TikTok and tap on the profile avatar (lower right corner).
2. Press three horizontal lines (☰) top-right.
3. Select Settings and Privacy.
4. Scroll down to the Content and Activity Settings section.
5. Slip on the Dark Theme.
6. Choose Included or Default (system)

If there is no dark topic, it means:

• 🔄 Your version of TikTok is outdated (update it).
• 📱 Your Xiaomi smartphone is working on MIUI 12 or lower (fixed firmware update required).
• 🌍 You are using a modified version of TikTok (e.g. TikTok Lite or regional build).

Method 2: Forced Enablement through MIUI settings

If TikTok ignores your settings, the problem may lie in the global dark MIUI mode. On Xiaomi, the system can redefine the design of applications, even if they support their own dark theme.

1. Open the smartphone settings.
