Screenshots on Xiaomi smartphones are not just about saving the screen, but an arsenal of tools for work, learning and communication. Depending on the model (Redmi Note 12, POCO X5 Pro, Mi 13 Ultra) and the firmware version of MIUI, there are up to 7 different ways to take screenshots. But many users still use only the standard button combination, without even knowing the existence of gestures, voice commands or the scroll function of long pages.
In this article, we will look at all the current methods, from classic to hidden, that work even on older devices (Redmi 4X, Mi A1). Particular attention will be paid to common errors: why the screenshot is not saved, how to change the format from.png to.jpg, and what to do if the picture turns out to be black.

- Press the power button and the volume down button at the same time.
- Hold for 1-2 seconds until you hear the shutter sound (or see the animation).
