Moreover, some of the data can be hidden due to privacy settings or lack of synchronization. In this article, we will discuss all the current ways to view the history of Yandex search on Xiaomi Android devices, including models 2023-2026.
Important: If you use Xiaomi with custom firmware (like LineageOS or Pixel Experience), some methods may not work, in which case, pay attention to universal methods through the web version of Yandex or sync with your account.
Method 1: Search history in the Yandex browser
The most obvious way is to check the history directly in the Yandex.Browser browser, which is preinstalled on many Xiaomi smartphones (especially in the CIS regions).
1. Open the Yandex.Browser application (the icon with the letter "I" on a blue background).
2. Slip on the menu icon (three horizontal lines or dots in the lower right corner).
3. Select the History section.
If the story is empty, check out:
- 🔍 Synchronization settings: go to Settings → Account. → Sync and make sure the History option is enabled.
- 🗑️ Automatic Deletion Options: C Settings → Privacy can be activated by clearing history when closing the browser.
- 📱 Browser Version: on Xiaomi with MIUI 14+ Sometimes you install a lightweight version of the browser without a full history. Update it via Google Play.

Critical: If you reset your phone to factory settings, the local history in MIUI Browser is deleted without the possibility of recovery.

Method 4: Web version of Yandex (universal method)
If none of the above methods worked, the most reliable option is to view history through the web version of Yandex, which works on any device, including Xiaomi, regardless of the firmware:
1. Open any browser and go to the site yandex.ru.
2. log in to your account (if not authorized).
3. Slip on the profile avatar in the upper right corner.
4. Select All Services → Search History.
Advantages of this method:
- 🔄 History synchronizes between all devices where you are logged in Yandex.
- 🗃️ Data is stored for longer (up to 10 years if not manually cleaned).
- 📱 It works even if all Yandex apps are removed on Xiaomi.
⚠️ Note: If you have used guest mode or were not logged in during the search, these requests will not be saved in the web version. Also, Yandex may not show history if your account is blocked or there are suspicions of hacking (in this case, a notification will be sent to the mail).

Method 5: Recover History via Google Account (if Chrome was used)
Many Xiaomi users default to Google Chrome as their primary browser. If you searched through Yandex in Chrome, the history can be saved to Google Account:

Problem 1: History is empty, but there was a search.
