The fact that the manufacturer often hides standard applications in folders or replaces them with branded services (for example, Mi Calendar), and after updating the MIUI interface can change dramatically, and even the calendar widget disappears from the home screen. In this article, we will analyze all possible places where the calendar can hide on Xiaomi, including hidden folders, system settings and even restore a remote application.

Method 1: Search through the main application menu

The fastest way to find a calendar is to use the built-in search bar.

1. Swipe your finger up from the bottom of the screen to open the app menu.
2. At the top of the screen will appear search field – enter the request Calendar (or Calendar for English firmware).
3. If an app is found, click on its icon (usually a date and month icon).

If the search does not yield results, try alternative queries:

• 📅 Mi Calendar – a proprietary application from Xiaomi.
• 📱 Google Calendar – if you use Google Services.
• 🔍 Xiaomi Calendar – for Localized Firmware.

Method 3: Including a calendar in application settings

Sometimes the calendar is not displayed in the menu because it was deactivated by the user or system (for example, after cleaning the cache).

1. Open the settings (cog icon).
2. Go to the Appendix section → Application management.

4. Select the appropriate widget size (e.g. 4×2 for month display).

If the widget does not appear in the list, this may mean:
