1. Where are screen recordings (screencasts) saved on Xiaomi

Screen recording is one of the most popular features, but the way video is stored depends on how it's started. In MIUI 14 and HyperOS, the algorithm has changed, so that files can now be fed into two different folders.

If you used the Quick Settings Panel (swipe down two fingers → Screen Record button), the videos will be saved here:

• 📁 /storage/emulated/0/Movies/ScreenRecord/ — mainfolder MIUI 12–14 HyperOS.
