You downloaded an important document, took a photo at a party or saved a TikTok video, but now you can't find these files on your Xiaomi? The situation is familiar to many: the MIUI interface hides some folders, and the standard Explorer does not show all the contents of memory. To display these files in the Gallery, you need:

1. Open the application folder (such as WhatsApp/Media).
2. Create an empty file called.nomedia (through any file manager)
3. Reboot the smartphone.

⚠️ Warning: Deleting the.nomedia folder will cause all media files from the messenger to reappear in the Gallery, even if you didn’t save them there.

4. System folders: where MIUI hides important data
