QR-The codes on Xiaomi TVs are not just scan stickers, but the key to quickly configuring your device, connecting to Mi Account services, diagnosing malfunctions, or even activating hidden features. The manufacturer places the codes in different places depending on the model, year of release and even the region of sales. QR-Xiaomi TV codes (including Mi series) TV A, Mi TV Q, Redmi Smart TV and others, and explain why they are needed and how to use them correctly.

If you have bought a used TV or lost a box, search for a new one. QR-It's especially difficult for models that have a sticker hidden under a stand or on the back of a technical piece of information. Standard locations QR-code on the Xiaomi TV

The manufacturer is placing QR-codes in a few typical zones, but their appearance and content may differ:

• 📦 On the TV box - usually on the side or top side, next to the serial number (S/N). The code here often duplicates the one on the device itself, but may contain additional information for warranty maintenance.
• 🖥️ On the back of the TV, in the lower right or upper left corner, the sticker can be small (2×2 cm) and translucent, so light with a flashlight.
• 🔧 Under the stand - relevant to Mi models TV 4S, Mi TV 5 and Redmi Smart TV X. You will have to carefully lift the TV or remove the stand.
• 📄 In the warranty card, some sellers print QR-- Check if you have the device code on the back of the ticket.

On New Models (2023–2026.) QR-code can be of two types:

1. Service: contains the serial number, model and data for maintenance, needed for warranty repair.
2. Functional – Used for quick Wi-Fi connection, binding to Mi Account or setting up via the Mi Home app.

2. How to find QR-code in the TV menu (without sticker)

From 2022, Xiaomi has added the ability to display QR-It's a code with the device data right in the system settings. It works on all firmware TVs. MIUI TV 3.0 and newer (including Mi) TV Q2, Redmi Smart TV X2022 Instructions:

Open the settings (cog on the remote)

Choose About TV or About Device

Scroll to Status or System Information

Press on. QR-Device code (may be called Mi Code)

On some models (e.g. Mi TV P1), the path is slightly different:

Settings → Account and Security → Device Information → QR-

What can be done with this code:

• 📱 Connect the TV to the Mi Home app for remote control.
• 🔄 Quickly transfer Wi-Fi settings from your phone (Mi Share feature).
• 🛠️ Provide code to the service center for remote access diagnostics.

If QR-The code on the screen is not scanned, try to reduce the brightness of the TV or turn on the night mode - this will remove the glare.

⚠️ Warning: Don't pass this one on QR-It contains a unique device identifier (Device). ID), This can be used to access some of the TV’s functions.

3. QR-Wi-Fi Connection Codes: Where to Look and How to Use

Separate type QR-Xiaomi is responsible for fast Internet connection, and these codes appear on the screen when you first set up or reset the network settings. Here's how to find them:

1. Start the TV and wait for the Wi-Fi network selection window to appear.
2. Click on the button Other ways to connect (or QR-sub-code).
3. The screen will show code to scan from the phone through the Mi Remote app or a standard camera.

If the window is QR-The code does not appear, check it out:

• 🔄 Update the TV firmware to the latest version (minimum required — MIUI TV 2.5.100).
• 📶 Make sure the router supports the standard 802.11ac (On older router models, the function may not work).
• 🔋 Restart the TV by holding the power button on the remote for 10 seconds.

On models without support QR-You can use an alternative method of connecting your phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network, then in the Mi Remote application select the Share Network option - the data will be transmitted automatically.

4. QR-Service Center codes: what they contain and how to read them

Service QR-Xiaomi TV codes contain encrypted information about:

• 🔧 Serial number (S/N) model.
• 📅 Date of production (coded in the first) 4 symbolism S/N).

6 What to do if QR-code is erased or missing

If the physical sticker is damaged and the code in the menu is not displayed, there are several ways to restore access to the data:

1. Through Mi Account: Sign in to your Xiaomi account on your TV. Go to account.xiaomi.com → Devices. Find your TV on the list, and there's a virtual TV. QR-service-access.

Open Mi Home → Devices → [Your TV] → Settings (⚙) → Information → QR-

Write to the chat support.xiaomi.com, specifying S/N (It can be found in the TV menu along the Settings path. → On TV. → Serial number, support will send virtual QR-code-in-response.

If the TV is not turned on and there is no access to the menu:

• 🔌 Connect the TV to the socket and hold the power button on the case for 15 seconds - sometimes this triggers a diagnostic mode with the display of the code.
• 📸 Take a photo of the back panel with the serial number and send the photo to the service center – they will generate QR down S/N.
