How to take a screenshot on Xiaomi Poco: all the ways to MIUI 14/15

  1. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to open the notification bar.
  2. Find the Screenshot icon (scissors or a rectangle with lightning). If it is not available, click Edit and add it to the active buttons.
  3. Slap the icon - the picture will be taken instantly.

Advantages:

  • ✅ It does not require memorization of combinations.
  • ✅ It works even if one of the physical buttons is broken.
  • ✅ You can add to Quick settings to access from a locked screen (on some models).

⚠️ Attention: On Poco F4 GT and F5 Pro the default screenshot icon is hidden. To find it, swipe the notification bar twice (full swipe) and click ⚙️ → Add tiles.

4. Google Voice Assistant or XiaoAI

If you need to take a screenshot without using your hands (such as while cooking or when your hands are dirty), you can use voice commands.It works on all Poco models with Google Assistant installed or branded XiaoAI.
