The reasons for voice can range from randomly pressing the key combination on the remote to a system failure or activating accessibility mode for the visually impaired, in some cases, after an automatic update to the Android TV firmware, when privacy or special features are reset to default values, and understanding the source of the problem is the first step to solving it.
In this article, we will go into detail all possible ways to turn off voice functions. We will look at both standard system settings and hidden options available through the engineering menu or uninstalling system applications. Careful follow the instructions will help you regain silence and full control of your device.
Disabling the voice assistant in standard settings
The easiest and safest way to remove voice is to use the TV's regular interface. In PatchWall or pure Android TV, which is installed on Xiaomi devices, a separate module is responsible for voice interaction, most often solved by deactivating the Google Assistant function or the built-in speaker.
To start, you need to go to the main settings menu. Use the remote control to find the gear icon, usually located in the upper right corner of the screen or in the sidebar. Navigation is done using buttons with arrows. It is important not to confuse the settings of a particular application with the global parameters of the system.
In the menu that opens, find a section that may be called Device Settings, Preferences, or System. The interface may vary slightly depending on the firmware version and regional TV model, and you need to find a subsection related to accounts, logins, or special features.
