Once the base is installed, connect it to the power supply network using the original unit. Make sure the outlet is in good working order and provides a stable voltage. You can now place the vacuum cleaner on the base by combining the charging contacts on the bottom of the device with the station's response pins.
When connected correctly, you will hear a voice greeting or see a flashing indicator. The LED light usually lights up in white to signal the start of the charging process. If the device is silent, check if the protective plastic casing is removed from the battery (relevant for some models).

If the automatic search didn't produce results, select the "Vaccelers" category in the device list and find your model manually. Model names often contain abbreviations, such as the Roborock S50 or Mijia 1C. Follow the on-screen prompts to move to the connection step.

Connecting to a Wi-Fi network and pairing

First cleaning and mapping
Once you've successfully connected to the network, it's recommended that you do the first cleaning in map-building mode. Open the map in the app and select Quiet or Standard mode so that the robot can explore the room in peace, and the laser navigator or gyroscope will start scanning the space.
On your first trip, don't interfere with your device unless it's stuck. The robot must travel all the available areas to create an accurate plan for your apartment. Virtual walls and zones can be configured after you've completed this process.
Make sure the room is light enough, especially if you use visual navigation (camera), the darkness can disorient the optical sensors, and the map will be incorrect or fragmented. Open the curtains and turn on the lights for better results.
What to do if the robot gets lost?
Once the cycle is complete, the device will automatically return to the base to recharge, and the app will retain the map you created, which you can edit: divide into rooms, set names and set limits.
Main functions and settings in the application
The Mi Home app interface offers a wide range of customizations for cleaning personalization. You can adjust the suction power by choosing between Quiet, Balanced, Turbo and Maximum modes. The suction power directly affects noise levels and battery life.
You can also set up a cleaning schedule, so you can set specific days of the week and when the robot should start working, and it's convenient to start cleaning while you're away from work or walking your dog.
In the map settings section, you can create virtual walls and no-go zones, and this is relevant for protecting long-pile carpets or wired areas, and the robot perceives virtual barriers as real obstacles and never crosses them.

Solution and maintenance
There may be various errors in operation, which the device reports by voice or codes on the indicator, a common problem is getting the main wheel stuck or the hair tangled in the brush, and regular cleaning of the main brush will prevent engine failure.
If the robot has stopped seeing the base, wipe the charging contacts on the device and station with dry cloth. Oxidation or dust can disrupt the electrical contact needed to charge. Also check if the base has moved from its place.
If you have a Wi-Fi connection error, try restarting the router and the vacuum cleaner itself. Sometimes you need to completely reset your device's network settings through prolonged button pressing. Resetting returns the communication module to factory settings.
