Modern cleaning devices require the right initial setup to work well in the smart home ecosystem. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum G1 (often labeled as the Mijia 1C) is a popular solution that combines affordable price and advanced navigation functionality. However, the process of synchronizing with a mobile device often causes difficulties for users due to the peculiarities of Wi-Fi security protocols and regional application settings.

Before you start the software part, you need to make sure that the device is physically ready. Charge the battery to a level of at least 20%, as during the installation of the connection and calibration of the sensors, a significant amount of energy is consumed. Also check that the side brush is installed correctly and the dust container is inserted before the characteristic click.
Preparation for interconnection: inspection of equipment and network
Successful integration of a robot into the Mi Home system depends on the parameters of your home network. The signal frequency is critical: the Wi-Fi module installed in the Xiaomi G1 operates exclusively in the 2.4 GHz band. If nothing works, do a full network reset, and then press the on and home buttons for 5-7 seconds at the same time until you hear a voice message saying you have reset your Wi-Fi, and then repeat the process of adding the device again as if it were new.
