How to take a full screen photo of a caller on Xiaomi: all ways

All the instructions have been tested on the latest versions of MIUI 14 and HyperOS, but most of the methods work on older firmware as well.

Why is the photo of the contact not displayed on the full screen?

The problem with small photos when calling on Xiaomi is related to the features of the MIUI shell. By default, the system uses three display options:

• 📞 Standard view – a small round photo in the center of the screen (the most common version)
• 🖼️ Extended view - the photo takes ~60% of the screen, but cut off at the edges
• 🚫 No photo – only the contact name is displayed on a colored background

The reasons why Xiaomi doesn’t show photos on the full screen:
