How to find out the Bluetooth version on your Xiaomi phone: all working methods

Do you want to connect Bluetooth 5.2 headphones to Xiaomi but aren’t sure if your smartphone is compatible? Or maybe you’ve noticed connection issues and suspect an outdated version of the module? In this article, we’ll look at all the current ways to check the Bluetooth version on Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones, from standard settings to hidden engineering menus.

The manufacturer doesn’t always specify the Bluetooth version in the specifications of the device, especially when it comes to budget models. 1. Verification through standard MIUI settings

The easiest method is to look at the Bluetooth version in the settings menu, which unfortunately doesn’t work on all Xiaomi devices, but it’s worth trying first.

Open the Settings app and go to About Phone (or About Device) section.

2. Scroll the list to the Wireless Networks block.

If this menu doesn’t show the version, try an alternative path:

6. Alternative methods (for older models)

If you have a Xiaomi smartphone released before 2019 (like the Redmi Note 5 or Mi A2), standard methods may not work.
