Method 1: View the number in MIUI settings (works in 60% of cases)

The most obvious way is to look at the settings of the smartphone, but there is a caveat: depending on the version of MIUI and the operator, the section may be called differently or not at all.

1. Open the Settings app (cog icon).
2. Go to section. SIM-Maps and mobile networks (or Mobile Network on older versions).
3. Choose yours. SIM-If you have two cards, then you should take them).
4. Scroll down to the My Phone Number or Number block.

⚠️ Warning: If you see a number that says "Unknown" or "empty field" is not a phone error, this is the case when the operator does not transfer the number to the system (a common practice in Tele2 and Yota.

Method 2: USSD-codes for all operators (works 99% of the time)

1. Open the Settings app.
2. In the search bar (loop at the top), enter the SIM Manager.

The most reliable, but not always convenient, way to call from your Xiaomi phone to another phone, which works even if:

• 🚫 USSD-codes don't work.
• 🔧 SIM Manager is missing or does not show data.

1. Take a second phone (another Xiaomi, iPhone, or even a landline).
2. From your Xiaomi, dial any number (like your friend) and press the call.
3. The second phone will have an incoming call, and your number will be there.

⚠️ Warning: If you use a number concealment (Anti-AON option), this method will not work - instead of your number, an Unknown or Hidden number will be displayed:

1. Go to Settings. → SIM-maps and mobile networks.
2. Choose yours. SIM-map.
3. Turn off the Hide Number or Anti-AON option.
4. Call me again.

Method 5: Checking through messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber)

If you've already logged in to messengers, they could have saved your phone number, which is especially true for Telegram and WhatsApp, which are tied to the messaging app. SIM-Here's how to find a number through them:

1. Open the Telegram app.

Method 6: Through the Engineering Menu (for advanced users)

If all previous methods have failed, you can try to find out the number through the Engineering Mode, which is suitable for advanced users, as it requires caution.

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Enter the code ##4636## (the test menu will open).
3. Go to the tab Phone Information.
4. Scroll down to the SIM Status block or SIM Status.
5. Find My Phone Number, and it may be your number.

⚠️ Warning: Do not change any settings in the engineering menu unless you are sure of their purpose:

The engineering menu is a powerful tool, but it's dangerous. If you're not a techie, use it only to view information without changing the parameters.

Method 7: Contact the operator (if nothing helps)

If all of these methods fail, the last option is to contact the carrier directly, and this is true in the following cases:

• 🆔 You're using corporate. SIM-Card (number may be hidden by company policy).
• 🌍 Yours. SIM-card issued abroad (some foreign operators do not transfer the number to the system).
