Method 2: Add to emergency situations through phone settings

If you want to block a number that hasn't called recently (like an old spam contact), or you prefer centralized blacklist management, use system settings. This method also allows you to view and edit all the locked numbers in one place.

Go to Settings → Applications → Application Management → Phone. From the menu that opens, select Number Block (some firmware may call it Blacklist or Spam). Here you will see two sections: Locked numbers (already added) and Add to Blacklist. Click on the second item and enter the number manually (with country code, for example, +79123456789) or select from contacts. Confirm the addition.

Once you add a number to an emergency, it will be locked at the system level, which means that even if you reset your phone to factory settings (without clearing your Mi Account), the list of blocked contacts will remain. Method 3: Blocking through contacts

Open the Contacts app, find the contact you want, and tap it. In the upper right corner, click three dots (⋮) and select Lock. The system will ask if you want to block only calls or if you want to block the same.
