2. Click 7 times on the MIUI version to activate the developer mode.
3. Return to the main settings menu, open Additional settings → Developer settings.
4. Find the mobile network settings and turn off VoLTE.

Disable VoLTE via the Engineering Menu (for power users)

• 📶 Wi-Fi Calling — Internet calls (Wi-Fi or mobile data) works even without the operator's network.

On Xiaomi, these functions can conflict: for example, when VoLTE is activated, the ability to call over Wi-Fi sometimes disappears. If you care about calls in places with poor coverage (basement, country house), it is better to leave only Wi-Fi Calling and turn off VoLTE.

To enable Wi-Fi Calling:

1. Go to Settings. → SIM-maps and mobile networks.
