Xiaomiβs modern wireless headphones, particularly the Air Lite, have become a popular choice for their value for money. However, many users have difficulty in the initial phase of operation, especially when it comes to initial synchronization. The setup process is not always automatic, and sometimes manual intervention is required to activate all the functions of the gadget.
In this guide, we will explain how to pair your device with different operating systems, learn about the nuances of Bluetooth protocols and how to fix common connection errors. A competent initial setup will ensure a stable signal and high sound quality in the future.
Preparation of the device for first activation
Before you start searching for the device in your phone settings, make sure the headphones are ready to go. Charge the case and the headphones themselves to a level of at least 50-60%, as low battery power can prevent the correct operation of the Bluetooth module. Remove both earphones from the charging case; in most Air Lite models, they automatically go into pairing mode, as evidenced by a flashing indicator.
If the lights don't flash, maybe the device has already been paired or is in sleep mode. In that case, put the headphones back in the case, close the lid for 5-10 seconds, then re-extract them. It's important to keep the case open so that contacts don't close, but the search mode is activated. Make sure the headphones themselves don't have protective films on the touch areas that can block control.

Before first connecting, wipe the charging contacts on the headphones and inside the case with dry soft cloth.Oxidation or dust can cause the headphones to not charge and therefore not enter pairing mode.
Make sure your smartphone is no more than 1 meter away from the headphones. Having a lot of metal objects or working microwaves between devices can cause interference. For initial setup, it is best to choose a room with a minimum of active radio signals.
Matching with Android smartphones
Connecting to Android devices is usually as fast as possible thanks to the integration of Google services. Open your smartphone settings and go to Connect or Bluetooth. Make sure the wireless slider is activated and lit in blue or green, which means the device is visible to others.
Click on the Device Search or Update in the list of available gadgets. The list of found devices should show the name Xiaomi Air Lite or a similar model designation. PIN-Type 0000 or 1234, although this is rarely required in modern Android versions.
