Why Resetting Is Not Always the Best Solution
A forgotten password on the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is a nasty situation, but it is fixable. However, before you rush to extremes and reset your phone to factory settings, it is worth assessing all the risks. Reset will delete all the data: photos, contacts, messages, installed applications and even Wi-Fi settings. The Mi A2 Lite (codenamed daisy) is that it is a device running pure Android One, not a proprietary MIUI shell. This means that some standard unlocking methods for Xiaomi wonβt work here. Method 2: Reset via Fastboot (if Recovery is not available)
If for some reason the Recovery Mode login is blocked (for example, due to a damaged firmware), you can use Fastboot mode. ADB/Fastboot and USB-cable.
