The touchscreen on Xiaomi has stopped responding to touch, and the display itself shows a black screen or is stuck on the logo? The situation is unpleasant, but not hopeless. Even with a completely broken touch and display, there are at least 5 ways to force the device to turn off — from simple button combinations to using the computer.
In this article, we will discuss all possible ways to turn off Redmi, POCO or Mi when the screen is not working, including hidden features that are not mentioned in the official instructions. You will also learn what actions can damage the smartphone and how to avoid typical errors. 1. Forced reboot through hardware buttons
The fastest and safest way is hard reset with physical buttons, which works on all Xiaomi models, including the Redmi Note 10/11/12, POCO X3/F4 and the flagship Mi 11/12/13.
Instructions:

- 🕒 Hold them for 10-15 seconds until the device vibrates or turns off the screen (if it was turned on).
