How to exit Fastboot mode on Xiaomi Redmi 6A: a step-by-step guide

Xiaomi Redmi 6A is one of the most popular budget smartphones, but even it is not immune to the sudden transition to Fastboot mode. This black screen with a green robot and the inscription "FASTBOOT MODE" scares many users, especially if the phone is getting stuck in this state for no apparent reason. Unlike Recovery mode, where you can still try to reset settings, Fastboot is a low-level mode for firmware and diagnostics, from which it is not so easy to get out.

Why Redmi 6A is loading into Fastboot: The main reasons

Xiaomi's Fastboot mode is activated for a reason, most often because of:

• 🔧 Failed software updates - interrupted firmware through MIUI Updater or third-party utilities (e.g. Mi Flash).
• 🔋 Critical battery discharge during reboot – if the phone is turned off at a charge level below 5%, the system may not properly initialize.
