4. Unlocking through EDL: step-by-step instruction
EDL (9008) is an emergency boot mode that allows you to flash the device at a low level. On Xiaomi 11T, it can be activated in two ways:
- Hardware: closing contacts on the board (requires disassembly of the device).
- Software: via the command fastboot oem edl (only works on some versions of MIUI).
The firmware will require:
