Types of locks on Xiaomi devices
Before you start taking action, you have to classify the problem: Redmi and Poco smartphones have layered security, the most common is a screen lock, it protects your personal data from prying eyes, usually a digital code, a graphic pattern or a fingerprint.
The second, more serious layer is the Mi Account binding, which is a feature known as "Find Device," which is activated by default when you log in to your account, and is designed to protect your device in the event of a theft, and even a full Hard Reset won't remove that binding, and the phone will require you to enter the username and password of the previous owner.
