Standard login and password for Xiaomi routers
Most Xiaomi models (including the Mi Router 3/4/4A/4C/AC2100 and AX1800/AX3000/AX6000 series) use the same credentials for the first entry, but there are nuances depending on the year of release and firmware version:

- Mi WiFi Mobile App: Open the App → Go to Devices → Select Your Router → Wi-Fi Settings. In some versions, the admin password is displayed in the Device Management section (requires a sign-in to the Mi Account associated with the router).

- Open your browser and go to the address 192.168.31.1/rec_pwd.html.
- Enter the router serial number (specified on the sticker) and press Submit.
- The system will generate a temporary password that will last 24 hours.

Full reset of Xiaomi router to factory settings
If the previous methods didn't work, it's just a hard reset, which will bring the router back out of the box, but it will delete:
- 📶 Wi-Fi settings (network name and password)
- 🔌 Tethered devices (including Mi Home smart home)
- 🌐 Parental Control and Guest Network Rules
- 🔄 Port settings and DMZ
For discharge:
- Turn on the router.
- Find the Reset button (usually hidden in the hole on the back).

- 📱 Link the router to your Mi Account: this will allow you to manage it remotely and restore access.
