How to watch a Xiaomi TV model: all ways with photos and instructions

Without this information, you can’t download the right firmware, pick up accessories, or even contact a service center. Fortunately, the manufacturer has provided several ways to find out the model – from the obvious (look at the box) to the hidden (through the service menu).

In this article, we'll look at all the methods available, from the simplest to the most technically sophisticated, which can be useful if the sticker is erased and the TV menu is not available, and you'll also learn where to look for markings on the case, how to decipher the model code and what to do if the TV is not turned on. Instructions are suitable for all series: Mi TV 4A/4S/4X, Mi TV 5/5 Pro, Mi TV Q1/Q2, Redmi Smart TV and others.

1.The fastest way: look at the sticker behind the TV

Every Xiaomi TV has a factory sticker on its body, with all the model information, and it's on the back, usually in one corner or in the middle, and you're looking for it on the plastic part of the body, not the metal radiator.

2. Go to the section About TV or About device (in English firmware - About).
3. Select the Model number (or Model number).

The full name of the model will be displayed on the screen, for example:

If you have recently purchased a TV, you can find it on the original package or in the accompanying documents.
