Tools and workplace preparation required
Before you start dismantling, you need to assemble a full arsenal of tools. Using inappropriate items such as knives or metal blades can lead to permanent damage to the frame and internal elements. To work with the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, you will need a specialized or household electronics repair kit.
The main tool will be the heat source, which can be a professional thermo-air soldering iron (dryer) or, in extreme cases, a household heating pad, the main task is to evenly warm the perimeter of the lid to soften the adhesive layer, and without high-quality heating, there is a high risk of breaking the glass when you try to smack.
