When the power button on Xiaomi's smartphone stops responding, it often takes the user by surprise. It seems like the device has turned into a useless piece of plastic and glass, but this is not always the case. Android, and the MIUI shell in particular, has many hidden mechanisms to bypass physical key failures.
Before you bring your gadget to the service center, you should try software-based resuscitation techniques.
