The standard interface of the MIUI or HyperOS shell has its own logic of data organization, which can confuse users who are accustomed to other operating systems. Finding the right dialogue becomes a real puzzle, especially if the recording was done long ago or files have accumulated a lot.
The problem is not only because of the complexity of navigation, but also because of the peculiarities of the system recorder, which in new versions of Android works in the background. Auto recording is turned on for many users, and they do not always remember what conversations were saved. Search through the system application Dictaphone
The most obvious and quickest way to find the audio you're interested in is to use the built-in system app. In Xiaomi smartphones, it's called the Mi Recorder, and it has a distinctive orange icon. This is where all the recordings that are made both manually and automatically during a conversation are aggregated. However, to get to the archive, you need to know where to click.
When you start the app, look at the top of the screen, and you're usually looking at tabs that change the contents of the main window, and you're looking for a tab called Records or Archives (depending on the firmware version and the language of the system), and if you don't see the file you want, don't panic, the list can be sorted by the date of creation, and the old files will go down.
Inside the Records tab, files are often grouped by date or type. To find a specific conversation, you can use a filter. Using MIUI Global Search
