1. Standard MIUI conversation record: Where to look?

On some versions of the Xiaomi Poco X3 firmware, the recording feature is built into the standard Phone app, but hidden in the back of the menu.

1. Open the Phone app (the tube icon on the home screen).
2. Press three points (⋮) in the upper right corner and select Settings.
3. Go to the section Record conversations (if not - see the next method).
4. Activate the Automatic Record switch or select Manual Record.

If you don't have a "Talk Record" item on the menu, your firmware doesn't support this out of the box feature, and one of the alternative methods described below will help.

For installation:

If none of the above methods worked, the last option is to obtain root rights, which will allow you to activate the record at the system level, but will deprive you of warranties and may disrupt some functions (for example, Google Pay or Banking applications).

Step-by-step instructions for Poco X3:

1. Unlock the bootloader through the official Xiaomi website (Mi Account is required).
2. Install custom recovery (TWRP) for the M2007J20CG.
3. Please use Magisk to obtain root rights.
