Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone owners often use built-in browsers or install Yandex as their primary navigation tool. Over time, a significant amount of data accumulates that can slow down the device or simply take up space. Clearing this data is a standard smartphone maintenance procedure that every user should be able to perform.
Deleting your history on Android differs depending on whether you use a separate Yandex app or a built-in Yandex search Mi Browser. It is important to understand the difference between completely clearing your cache and selectively deleting your visited pages. Wrong actions can result in the loss of saved passwords or autocomplete data.

Differences between App and Search String
The first step is to determine where your story is stored. Xiaomi smartphones have two main use cases for Yandex services. The first option is a separate Yandex application, which combines a search engine, voice assistant and news feed.
The second option is to use the Yandex search bar inside the Mi Browser system browser or third-party browsers like Chrome, in which case the story is stored in the browser’s database rather than in the Yandex app. The confusion between the two sources often leads users to clear the wrong things.
If you use Alice, your voice request history can be stored separately in a cloud profile. Local cleaning on your phone doesn't always delete data from your company's servers. Total anonymity requires a comprehensive approach to account settings.
Clearing history in the Yandex application
