Usually, information about the presence of NFC is contained in the specifications on the box or on the manufacturer's official website in the characteristics section of the model.
You can programmatically check for the module through the system settings, which will take only a few seconds to avoid installing extra software, and if the module is physically absent, you can't use the phone as a means of payment, and you'll have to consider options with external fobs or stickers.
