Logging out of Google Play Market on Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO smartphones often raises questions. Unlike iOS, where the procedure is standard, Android (especially with a MIUI shell) can have nuances: hidden menus, sync errors or requiring a password after deleting a profile. 1. Standard output via MIUI settings
The easiest way to do this is to use the built-in Google Accounts menu, which works on 90% of devices if:

2. Mi Account Conflict: Why Google is Not Deleted
A common problem with Xiaomi is blocking the deletion of a Google account because of a linked Mi Account, which is due to Xiaomi’s security policy, which requires:

- 📍 Geolocation confirmations (on some firmware)
- 📧 Active Mi Account email (if the phone is tied to it)
How to get around the restriction:
- Go to Settings → Xiaomi account.

If none of these methods work, it's a hard reset, which will delete all the data from the device, including apps, photos and settings, but it's guaranteed to break the connection to the Google account. Xiaomi has two options for resetting:

- 🔒 Deleting a Google account requires entering a password from your Mi Account, even if you are logged out.
- 📱 Some firmwares do not have the option of removing via ADB without root rights.
Instructions for MIUI 11-12:
- Open Settings → Accounts → Google.
- Select an account → Manage a Google account (a browser will open).
- In the browser, go to Security → Your devices and remove the current phone from the list.
- Return to your phone settings and try again to delete.
For devices in 2019 and older (e.g., Xiaomi Mi A2 on Android One):
