Xiaomi Mi TV 55 (P1, Q1, Q2, and others) is powered by PatchWall, which doesn’t include Yandex services in the standard suite of applications — neither the browser, nor Yandex.Ether, nor Yandex.Music. However, users often want to access the Yandex ecosystem because of easy search, Russian content, or synchronization with other devices. In this article, we’ll discuss three operating methods for installing, including bypassing the limitations of MIUI TV, and solve typical startup and authorization problems.
It’s important to understand that Xiaomi doesn’t officially block third-party APKs, but it doesn’t guarantee that they’ll work smoothly either. Some features (like voice search via Alice) may require additional settings or root rights, which voids the warranty. If your TV model is released after 2023, check for the Google Play Store – this will make the process easier.
Before you start, make sure your TV is connected to the internet (preferably via cable for sustainability) and you have a TV set. USB-4 GB storage (formatted into a FAT32). Also prepare the remote control or connect a wireless keyboard – this will make data entry easier.
1. Install Yandex via PatchWall Store (official method)
The easiest method is to search for apps directly in the PatchWall store. Despite the limited range, some Yandex services may be present there, especially if the TV is designed for the Russian market.

5. Solving common problems

To activate the voice assistant:
