With HDRezka, you get access to thousands of high-quality movies, TV shows and cartoons for free, but how do you install this app on Xiaomi Smart TV if it's not in the official Google Play store? In this article, we'll look at all the current ways to install it on the Mi TV 4/5/6 series, Redmi Smart TV and Mi Box S.
It is important to understand that HDRezka does not have an official Android TV app. All installation methods involve the use of third-party.apk files or alternative launchers. This does not violate the law, but requires caution: download files only from trusted sources to avoid viruses. Preparing Xiaomi TV for installation
Before installing HDRezka, you need to prepare your Xiaomi Smart TV. Without these steps, the system will simply block the installation of third-party applications.
The first thing you need to do is allow installation from unknown sources.
- Open the settings (cog in the upper right corner).
- Go to the Security and Restrictions section → Unknown sources.
- Find a browser (such as Chrome or Mi Browser) in the list and turn on the switch.
If you have a Mi Box S, the path will be a little different: Settings → Device → Security and Restrictions → Unknown sources.

Also check the Android TV version on your device. Go to Settings → About TV → Software version. On TVs with Android 9 and later, you may need to adjust it via ADB (we’ll talk about this below).
Method 1: Installation through APK-file (the simplest one)
This is a classic method that works on most Xiaomi Smart TV models.

- 📁 USB-flash drive (formatted in FAT32)
- 🔌 Cable OTG (if you don't have a TV USB-port)
Steps:
- Download the current version of HDRezka APK from an official website or a trusted source (e.g. 4PDA).Look for versions optimized for Android TV (usually tv or atv in the title).
- Transfer the file to a flash drive. The file name should be in Latin, without spaces (for example, hdrezka_tv_v3.2.apk).
- Connect the flash drive to the TV. Open any file manager (e.g. File Commander or standard Explorer).
- Find it. APK-- File and run it. - Confirm installation.

Instructions:
- Download Platform Tools from the official Android website.
- Turn on USB debugging on your TV: Settings → About TV → Software version (click 7 times on build number until the message “You are a developer”). Then: Settings → Developers → Debugging on USB.
- Connect the TV to your computer through USB-cable.
- Open the command line in the folder with platform-tools and type: adb install hdrezka_tv.apk (substitute hdrezka_tv.apk in the name of your file).
What if ADB can’t see the TV?
This method is guaranteed to work on all models, but it requires caution. Do not interrupt the installation process through ADB - this can cause the application to fail.
Method 4: Using SmartTube (alternative launcher)
If HDRezka doesn’t want to be installed or is unstable, you can use SmartTube, an alternative launcher for Android TV that supports third-party APK installation.
Advantages of SmartTube:

How to determine:
