How to install Google Play Store on Xiaomi: 3 working methods and error solving

Warning: some methods require unlocking the bootloader or installing a custom Recovery, which can cancel the warranty. If your Xiaomi is still under warranty, use only official methods (described in the first two sections).

1. Install Google Play via MIUI Global ROM (official way)

The easiest and safest method is to upgrade to the global version of MIUI, where Google services are already pre-installed, which is suitable for most Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO models, except for devices originally intended for the Chinese market (for example, Xiaomi 14 Pro with CN firmware).
