Why can’t you just install WhatsApp twice?
By default, Android (and MIUI included) does not allow you to install the same app twice from Google Play.

If your firmware doesn’t support Dual Apps (like the Xiaomi Mi A1/A2 with pure Android), use the Parallel Space app, which creates an isolated environment where you can run cloned applications.
Instructions:
- Download Parallel Space from Google Play.
- Open the app and add WhatsApp to the cloning list.
- Run a clone from the Parallel Space interface (the icon will appear inside the program, not on the desktop).
- When you first start, register your second phone number.
Limitations of the method:

- Before installation, allow installation from unknown sources in Settings → Applications → Special Access → Installation of unknown applications.
- Set up an APK and register a second number.
- In GBWhatsApp settings, activate the dual account option and add the original WhatsApp.
Risks of using GBWhatsApp:

- Enable USB Debugging in Settings → About Phone → MIUI version (click 7 times, then go back to Additional → For Developers).
- Connect your phone to your PC and open the command line (or Terminal on Mac/Linux).
- Enter the command to create a clone: adb shell pm install --user 0 -i "com.android.vending" -r "com.whatsapp.w4b" (replace com.whatsapp.w4b with a unique package name if needed).

How to set up VMOS:
- Download VMOS Pro (requires Android 8.0+).
- Launch the application and wait for the virtual system to be installed (it will take ~5-10 minutes).
- Inside the VMOS, open Google Play, log in to another account, and install WhatsApp.
- Sign up for number two. Now you have two completely isolated WhatsApps: one on Android and one on VMOS.
Cons of the method:
- ⚠️ High consumption of resources (VMOS borrower ~1.5 GB of RAM).
- ⚠️ Notifications may be delayed.
- ⚠️ A separate Google account is required for a virtual machine.
