Xiaomi smartphone owners often use Yandex as their primary surfing tool thanks to its fast work and built-in services. However, the active use of web resources inevitably leads to the accumulation of a large amount of data that the system stores for the user’s convenience. Knowing where this information is stored and how to manage it is a basic skill of a digital user.
Visit history is a chronological list of all the pages you opened in the app, which is useful if you want to go back to an article you read a couple of days ago or find a link to a file you accidentally closed, but if other people use the device, this list can reveal your personal preferences or sensitive data.
In Android, which runs the MIUI shell or HyperOS, the browser's data management process has its own characteristics. Unlike desktops, it's a touchscreen navigation system, and the interface is vertically adapted. Let's look at all the ways we can view and manage that data.
Standard way of viewing through the browser menu
The most obvious and frequently used method is to access the main menu of the application. The browser interface is designed so that the basic functions are in the access template. First, you need to run the Yandex Browser application on your smartphone.
On the bottom panel of the screen, which is the navigation, you'll see some icons, and one of them, usually in the center or right, looks like three horizontal bars or dots, and that's the main menu button, where all the settings and controls are hidden.
When you click on this button, you open a panel where you can find a clock icon among the weather, news and Zen widgets, and this is the symbol that represents your history, and you click on it, and you get to the full list of all the transitions, sorted by date.

Tap the input bar and the browser will offer you a list of most visited sites and recent queries. Often, the desired page can be found simply by entering the site name or keyword from the title, the system will automatically select options from your browsing history.
Another effective method is to use the voice assistant Alice. If you have voice control enabled, you can just say, "Alice, show me your browser history," or "What sites did I see yesterday?" The voice assistant will open the corresponding section or give you a list of recent clicks.

To selectively delete, open the history section, find the unnecessary entry, and click on the three dots icon next to it (or hold your finger on the title). In the context menu that appears, select Delete. The entry will disappear from the list instantly.
If you want a full cleanup, look for the Clear History button in the history menu (often at the top of the list or in the section settings) and the system will prompt you to select the time range: “For the last hour”, “For today”, “For all time”.

If the story is empty, check whether the default Incognito mode is turned on or if the ban on saving data in the site settings is worth it, and the problem may lie in the overcrowded cache of the application, which prevents the correct writing of new logs.
