1. Standard Calendar Location in MIUI

In most cases, the Xiaomi calendar is in one of three places, depending on the firmware version and the device model.

• 📱 App menu: Scroll through the list of all installed programs upwards – the calendar is usually alphabetically set under the letter “K” (in Russian) or “C” (in English – Calendar.
• 🔍 Search System: Swipe your finger down the home screen to open the search bar and type Calendar, and the system will show not only the app itself, but the settings associated with it.
• 📅 Desktop widget: If the calendar was previously added as a widget but disappeared, try holding your finger in the free screen space and select Widgets → Calendar, in the calendar. MIUI 14+ widgets can be hidden – you may need to swipe left to display them.

On POCO models (e.g., POCO F5), the calendar is often integrated into the Google app, which can be found in Google Services → Calendar. If you use MIUI for the global market (EU/Global ROM), then the standard calendar can be replaced by Google Calendar by default.

2 Why the calendar is missing and how to get it back

If the calendar disappeared after updating or resetting, the reasons may be as follows:

• 🔄 Disabling the system application: In the settings of the Application → The application management calendar could have been deactivated. To return it, find the Calendar in the list, click Enable and restart the device.
• 🗑️ Removal through ADB: Some “optimizers” or users manually remove system applications with the command adb shell pm uninstall. --user 0 com.android.calendar. In this case, you will have to restore the firmware or install the calendar through the APK.

6. Solving calendar problems

If your calendar doesn’t open, sync, or give you errors, try the following steps:

• 🔄 Cache Clearing: Go to Settings → Annexes → Application management → Calendar → Warehouse → Clear the cache.
• 📥 App Update: For Google Calendar, check for updates in the Play Store. For Mi Calendar, update your firmware through Settings → Updating the system.
• 🔧 Resetting: In calendar settings, select Restore Default Settings (note that this will remove all local events!).
• 📡 Synchronization check: Make sure that in Settings → Accounts are synchronized for the desired account.
