It is important to distinguish between a Google account and a Xiaomi account. If the former is responsible for the Play Market and email, the latter manages the phone’s hardware functions, for example, finding a device through the Find Device function works through Xiaomi servers, even if the phone is turned off (if supported by technology).
⚠️ Warning: Never buy a smartphone with someone else's Mi Account already activated.This can lead to the device being locked by the manufacturer, and unlocking it without the previous owner's password will be almost impossible.

Cloud storage Mi Cloud
