Recovering deleted records from the cart

In modern versions of HyperOS and MIUI 12/13/14, deleted notes are not erased instantly, but moved to temporary storage, where they can be stored for up to 30 days, a protective mechanism that allows you to recover data in the event of accidental deletion.
To check, go to the app menu (three dots or menu button) and select Recycle Bin or Recently Deleted, which displays all the records that have been erased in the past month, and you can select the note you want and restore it by returning it to the general list, or clear the cart to make room.
⚠️ Attention: Recycle bin notes are limited in life, and after 30 days, the system automatically and irretrievably deletes them, after which it becomes impossible to recover them with regular means.
If the cart is empty and the notes are missing, it could indicate that they were deleted long ago or the device has been reset, in the latter case, the only hope is for backups of the Mi Cloud if the sync was enabled in advance.
