Losing an important phone number or an entire phone book on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8
In most cases, data is not permanently lost, but only hidden or transferred to cloud storage. Modern Xiaomi smartphones are equipped with powerful synchronization tools that often work in the background, even if the user does not suspect it.
Before you panic or bring your device to a service center, you need to independently diagnose available backup sources. We will look at the regular Android tools, Mi Cloud services and specialized software for the PC. It is critical not to record new contacts and do full resets before you try to restore.
Checking the cloud synchronization of Google Account

Import and export via VCF file
The.vcf (vCard) format is the universal standard for storing contact information. If you have previously backed up manually or received a file from another user, it is not difficult to recover data. Files can be located in the Download folder, on the SD memory card or in instant messengers.
