1. Synchronization through USB-cable: step-by-step instruction
The most reliable, but often problematic way is that modern Xiaomi smartphones use MTP (Media Transfer Protocol), which can conflict with Windows drivers.
Connect your phone to your PC with the original cable (cheap counterparts often don't support data transfer). On the screen of your smartphone, a notification will appear - select File Transfer (or MTP) mode. If you don't have the option, check:
