Xiaomiโs cloud (Mi Cloud) is not just a backup for your photos and contacts, but a full-fledged storage that automatically syncs data from your phone, tablet or even smart devices of the Mi Home ecosystem. However, many users face the problem of how to find these files at all if they are not displayed in a standard Explorer? Official Mi Cloud application: basic method
The most obvious, but not always convenient method is to use the proprietary Mi Cloud app, pre-installed on all Xiaomi, Redmi and other smartphones. POCO. 2.Mi Cloud Web Version: Access from Any Device
If you do not have a Xiaomi smartphone at hand, or you want to download files to your computer, use the browser version of the cloud at i.mi.com. This method is universal: it works on Windows, macOS, Linux, as well as on other devices (for example, in an Internet cafe).
Instructions for entry:
- Open i.mi.com in your browser (Chrome or Edge is recommended for stable operation).
- Enter your username (email or phone number) and password from your Xiaomi account. If two-factor authentication is enabled, confirm your login via SMS or Mi Account app.
- In the main menu, select the Cloud section (Cloud in English).
- Use the left panel to navigate through folders, and it displays all files, including those not visible in the mobile app (e.g., backups of system settings).
The advantage of the web version is that it's packet-based.

- ๐พ Click Download from the top menu.
- ๐ฆ Files are packed into.zip archives (maximum 2 GB per operation).
How to download files more than 2 GB?
โ ๏ธ Note: If you log into Mi Cloud from someone else's device, do not save your password in your browser and be sure to click Out in the upper right corner. Otherwise, the next user of that device will have access to your data, including backups. SMS call history.
3. View hidden backups

4. Access to the cloud from your computer via Mi PC Suite
If you need to not only view but also manage files (for example, download them back to your phone), use the official Mi PC Suite utility.

5. Recovery of deleted files
If you accidentally delete a file from the cloud, you have 30 days to restore it.
- In the web version of Mi Cloud, go to Trash.
- Find the file you want and click Restore.
- The file will return to the original folder (for example, to the Gallery or Documents).
If the basket is empty, try:
- ๐ Search all files (including archive files) and enter part of the file name or date of creation.

Xiaomi provides an open API for working with the cloud.
