The most reliable and versatile way is to sync notes with the Mi Cloud service, which works on all devices with original firmware and does not require root rights, the main condition is the presence of a Xiaomi account (or Mi Account) that is linked to the phone.

To transfer notes to the cloud and then download them to PC:

1. Open the Notes app on your phone.
2. Slip on the profile icon (or three horizontal lines) → Settings → Synchronization.
3. Turn on the Mi Cloud switch and wait until the sync is complete (may take a few minutes).
4. On your computer, go to i.mi.com and log in under the same account.
5. In the Notes section, select the entries you need and click Export (three-dot icon).

Files will be saved in.zip format with notes in.txt or.html (depending on the version of the service).Please note: the free tariff of Mi Cloud provides only 5 GB, so with a large number of notes with attachments (photos, audio), you may need to clean or buy additional space.

Method 2: Direct Export to File (without Cloud)

If you don't want to upload data to the cloud or you don't have a stable internet connection, you can export notes to a file on your phone and then transfer it to your PC, a technique that works on most devices with MIUI 11 and later, but may not be available on some global firmware versions.

The archive will have separate files for each note, named by the date of creation, and the important thing is that if the note contains attachments (photos, audio), they are exported as separate files in the attachments folder, and you have to manually match them with the text.

Method 3: Transfer via USB via ADB (for advanced)

This is a method that works for users who don’t have access to the Mi Cloud or don’t have standard export, and requires USB debugging and the use of the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) tool, which works on all devices, but can seem challenging for beginners.

Step-by-step:

1. Turn on Developer Mode on your phone: go to Settings → About Phone and tap on MIUI Version 7 times.
2. Return to Settings → Additional → For developers and activate Debugging over USB.
3. Connect the phone to the PC, confirm the debugging permission.
4. Download ADB Tools and unpack it into a folder on your PC.
5. Open the command line in this folder and execute: adb backup -f notes.ab com.miui.notes A backup request will appear on the phone - confirm it (password can not be set).
6. Once completed, the note.ab file will appear in the ADB folder, which can be opened using the Android Backup Extractor program.

Problem 1: Mi Cloud does not display notes after synchronization.

• Check that you are logged in to the same Mi Account on your phone and PC.
