Method 1: Sync through Google Account (most reliable)
This method works on any Android device, including Honor and Xiaomi, because it uses the universal service Google Contacts, the main condition is the presence of a Gmail account and a stable Internet connection.
On Honor (the original phone), follow the following steps:
- Open Settings โ Accounts โ Google.
- Choose your account (or add a new one if you donโt have one).
- Activate the slider opposite the "Contacts".
- Wait until the synchronization is complete (it can take up to 5 minutes depending on the number of contacts).
On Xiaomi (new phone):
- When you first turn on, select Restore from Google (or add an account later to Settings โ Accounts).
- Make sure that the contact sync is enabled.
- Restart the device if contacts do not appear immediately.

- Open the Contacts app.

The.vcf (vCard) format allows you to save all your contact data, including photos, email, addresses and notes, which is ideal if you want to back up or migrate contacts selectively.
Exports to Honor:
- Open the "Contactยป โ โฎ โ Contact management โ Imports/Exports โ Export to file.
Transfer the file to Xiaomi:

Method 4: Bluetooth transmission (if no other options are available)
Bluetooth is the universal, but the slowest way, which is if you don't have access to the Internet or cable and you don't have many contacts, and it's important that both phones have visibility on all devices.
Steps for transmission:
- On Honor, open โContactsโ, select the right ones (or click). โฎ โ Highlight everything).

- On Xiaomi, turn on Bluetooth in the notification curtain and make it visible.
- On Honor, select Xiaomi from the list of devices and confirm the transfer.

Solving Typical Problems When Transferring Contacts
Even if you follow the instructions, you can have a lot of problems.
1. Contacts are not synced with Google
- ๐ Check if synchronization is included in Settings โ Accounts. โ Google โ Contacts.
- ๐ถ Make sure your phone is connected to the internet (sometimes switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi helps).

2. Upon importation VCF-file error occurs
