Where to look for copied text on Xiaomi Redmi phone: all ways

You copied an important phone number, password, or article fragment, but you don't have time to paste it, and the data disappears from the clipboard. Familiar situation? On Xiaomi Redmi smartphones (and other devices running MIUI), copy history works differently than on pure Android. In this article, we'll look at where the copied text is physically stored, how to recover it, and what tools will help you avoid data loss.

To be clear, the standard Android clipboard stores only the last copyed snippet — previous data is erased when you copy it again. However, Xiaomi’s MIUI extends this feature by adding copy history (but not on all models and firmware versions), and then provides detailed instructions for different scenarios, from embedded tools to third-party applications.
